I am a Washington native, a wife to a first responder, a mother of 3 children and an avid long-distance runner. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, couples and families. I believe it is a privilege to be able to bear witness to a client/family's story and highly value my clients. My approach to counseling uses respect and compassion while providing professional feedback to facilitate growth.
I specialize in working with families that are experiencing conflict and looking for ways to enhance their relationships. My goal is to create an atmosphere where all family members feel heard and have a better understanding of their relational functions. I emphasize teaching tolerance, bargaining and negotiation and problem solving.
I am trained in the evidence-based practices of Family Functional Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. I also enjoy incorporating mindfulness and natural self care techniques into my practice.
I'd love the chance to help you realize your goals. Call today and schedule your free 20 minute consultation!
